As the original 'Cosplay Repair Person' back in early 2014, Captain Patch-It has been providing free cosplay repair services to cosplayers and convention attendees across Australia and internationally.
Since then, he has become a mainstay of the Australian cosplay scene for over a decade, travelling across the country to set up and operate cosplay repair areas, and ensuring cosplayers are able to enjoy their events, without fear of cosplay malfunctions stopping them.

Since 2014, Captain Patch-It has attended over a hundred conventions across Australia and New Zealand to provide cosplay repair assistance and been featured many times in various articles and printed media covering cosplay and cosplay repair.
He served as inspiration for the cosplay repair movement around the world, and played a part in making cosplay becoming acknowledged in Australian convention circles - seeing the rise of cosplay-dedicated areas at conventions and the expectation of a 'Cosplay Repair Area' to be available to serve all convention attendees.
